lol, I finally went to bed around 4:30, 5:00... before waking up today at noon to go to Home Depot because I ran out of boning. :-) BUT, now the boning's all here and I'm excited just to get this finished! Good luck on yours!

I haven't begun pulling the late nights for the garb... but as the weekend creeps up.. well... (I'm taking a sewing break right now) Luckily for the pirate stuff I have a few more weeks... otherwise I'd be getting no sleep!

So, I'm getting ready to do the skirt tomorrow and I realize that I don't have a pattern... any suggestions on making an easy save? ;-)

for a VERY simple skirt, just cut off enough from the edge of the fabric for a waist band. Pleat the rest of the fabric to your desired width. Sew the pleated fabric to the waistband and then sew up the seam about 3/4 of the way up. Add hook and eyes and you have a skirt!
I have a couple of more simplish patterns as well. The above takes about 4 yards of fabric.

Thanks hon! I got into one of my "zones" last night and just sorta faked it and it came out fine, but I'm going to keep that one in mind for my NEXT skrt! :-D
