I just found out about new items from the Revel Grove food vendors! So tasty and so 16th century: Deep fried Black Pudding. An Irish delight for everyone. Chicken-Fried Bacon with gravy. Yumm!

Chicken-Fried Bacon with gravy. Yumm! I can not show this to my older daughter. The way she loves bacon and gravy, she will be bugging me every day to find the recipe and to check rennfest.com daily to find out which food area it will be at. If it was sold by the booths by the Fortune Stage where Emery and Robin Hood perform, we would never be able to leave Mary Dale's Way. BTW, MathemActor, I ASSUME you are pulling our legs with the Crazy Cat Lady casting for next season, but knowing some of the village stories that have gone on, you never know.

bacon and beer and a hot day ... not favorable for the drive home ... just throw in a scottish egg or two and I would get kicked out of the joint!

Unheard of! Besides, Fred can't be the only cross-dresser in the cast!

What a wonderful recipe! Thank you. Now, we tried ours this weekend Pig Wellington style: We covered the whole thing with foie gras, batter-dipped and deep-fried the whole thing. Served with a spicy Cheese Whiz sauce, it was a gastronomic delight.

Now THAT is a good actress. Oh, I don't mean that at all. Fred really is Fred and he plays the King very well and very straight, so to speak. But sometimes we like to dress as playtrons and mingle in the crowds, to see what the simple folks do to help them escape when they're blue.
