One of the things that the Clan, Cravan, and I all enjoyed about the St. Louis Renfest was the fantasy side of their Faire. Yes, there was a historical part - they do a French Faire with the town called Petite Lyon and the French Royals and Jousting and things - but they also had a Fey area. A forested part that had a very Faerie Festival flair to it with tree benches and lots of glitter and things twined about the trees. And they had a Fey Royal line as well - so two kings/queens - two very different Realms.
We loved it! I would really enjoying seeing more of the mystic/lore side of Fest that we in MD don't really get at Revel Grove. Aside from the wonderful Fairy Godmother... whom we love as much as our Fave Captin Jean, there isn't that much from actual Fest. It's Brambleberry and the vendors that bring us that Fey quality.
