Wow - we had a great day Saturday at VARF. We went last Saturday as well but this was the day - totally fun, merry, and purchases were made. Bought a new corsett - WoooT Incredible things with my waist. heee hee. Great time, great food - love the gyros and Midnight and I actually won part of the costume contest as being most "In Theme" Midsummer Night's Dream Huzzah! Mother and Daughter in the house looking pretty. ;D Captin and Morning beat a stick with sword which was allowed and encouraged! We will be back next year! It was also wonderful to see Flo and Will for a chat and visit. Mistress Fetch and Basil - can't believe I don't react to him - we are really considering adoption. Very informative and just really neat to talk with you. Ooooh - and Keltish last weekend - PEG - I mean LYNN - singing with Chelle and her fiddle. Sweetness. Pure sweetness and all that we have missed of that wonderful voice. Hugs all.

I'm sorry that I was not personally able to contribute more to the entertainment of your family, but when you're a bawdy musician whose most family friendly song is called "Johnny Came Home Headless", there's only so much you can do. Speaking of Chelle and her fiddle, she was gracious enough to play along with Karl and myself on a country western parody backdated to the Renaissance, making our cobbled-up dog and pony show sound like a professional production. Hearing her is always a pleasure - hearing her right beside you is a special one.
