I the recent past, the Faire Ever passes are ready to purchase during the first or second week of January. I asked about this on MDRF's facebook page and got this response from Carolyn:
We are updating our ticketing system, so we don't have any information to pass along until that is in place.
So stand by folks, I'll let you know when we can rush them with orders for the new season!

TICKET SALES FOR THE 2011 SEASON START ON-LINE AT NOON ON JUNE 17th!
The Maryland Renaissance Festival introduces its new ticket system which will make its debut in stages. The first roll out will include the multi-day passes good for two, six, nine, and nineteen days. Shortly before the Festival opens the individual day tickets will be offered for sale. All the tickets that are offered for sale first on-line will also be available at the ticket windows the days the Festival is open.
Due to the on-line sales component characteristics and the delivery method of tickets either in advance or at the gate and due to the variety of ticket options the processing of season passes with a photo will no longer be necessary. The on-line or gate sale will be instantaneous. Because the multi-day tickets are non-transferable the ticket holder will be required to provide a valid photo ID when presenting the ticket for admission. The scanning technology that processes each ticket requires a bar code which will contain all the pertinent information but not have imprinted a traditional sequential number as in the past.
Additional information concerning each ticket is posted on the Festival’s ticket page at the Festival web site www.MarylandRenaissanceFestival.com

"For those who asked: Do not laminate your multi-day subscription passes. We've done some testing and the scanners cannot read them when laminated!" - MDRF Officials
