Flo (also known as Mistress von Cleavage) and B ill (also known as Master Will Paisley, better known as Flo's fiancée) are pleased to announce they will (finally) be married during an Extremely Public ceremony on Sunday, October 15 2006, at the Maryland Renaissance Festival in Crownsville, MD on the Jury Rig Stage (aka The White Castle, current home of Hack and Slash, down the hill from The Dragon) at 11AM
One and all are invited to join in their joy, celebration, and knowledge of dialogue of The Princess Bride (costumes encouraged, all we have is one Fezzik, all old women should hold their Booing until the recessional)
Cardinal Sinnius Vice will be performing the ceremony in the manner of the Impressive Clergyman
Audience responses are anticipated, but not wequiwed
Note: as admission is required to enter the Faire, no gifts are expected
Also note for anyone coming from the DC area: there is a Redskins game at 1PM, which means the Beltway starts to fill up around 9:30 or so (if not earlier)

Sounds like your wedding is going to be incredible! Congures up memories of my own wedding. Even though it was a mundane wedding, we used the main love theme music"Storybook Love" off of the Princess Bride soundtrack as our processional and the "Happy Ending" theme where all the characters are riding away on the white horses as our recessional followed by the "Story Book Love" song (with the words). (Gotta love Mark Knopfler!)

We'll be there with bells on!!! YAY!! Hey Tigerlily, Were you by chance wearing some pretty snazzy garb including some sort of cap with peac-o-c-k feathers on it, or am I confusing you with someone else? If that was you and Kendall, I was right behind you off to the left. If that wasn't you....then nevermind..

If that was you and Kendall, I was right behind you off to the left. If that wasn't you....then nevermind.. Um, nope, sorry hon, 'tweren't me...we UNFORTUNATELY missed the wedding! DARN! And we tried desperately to be there! We couldn't find a room in all of Annapolis for this past weekend (the boat show AND a Navy football game) and had to stay an hour away in Easton...couple that with a) us having too much to drink on Saturday and just dying when we got to our room Saturday night (after eating our fabulous in-room pizza, that is!) and b) having to pack everything up and "break camp" so to speak in preparations for our long drive home after faire, and c) the 2 of us being perpetually late for EVERYTHING...and well, there you have it. I'm so sorry I missed seeing you!!! Will you be at faire this coming weekend? Maybe we can FINALLY meet then! Thanks for thinking of us, though... We got to see Sinnius as he was leaving the wedding...had a nice chat with him and REALLY wish the faire would have him back, although I think maybe the powers that be at faire are worried about the political correctness of Sinnius Vice...I wish we could do something (write, call, SOMETHING) to persuade those powers to bring him back. He said he'd love to be asked back and to me, he'd be a REAL asset to ANY faire! BTW...Best wishes to Will and Flo!! I got to congratulate Flo on Sunday afternoon at the White Hart, but missed seeing Will altogether...so congrats, you two! May you have a long and happy life together!! HUZZAH!!!

Apologies for my comment about not smiling. Didn't mean nuthin' by it...just a little humor, but somehow it don't always flow the way I intend. Love to all!

1) Thank you very much, Sir Black Fox, for the wonderful wedding pictures you have put online. Yours have been the first pictures that my friends from work and my family have seen of the wedding.
2) Thank you all very much for your well wishes. I was just writing my mother a letter (my father passed away at the very beginning of 2004) about how I'm sorry she was unable to attend due to the venue (she lives 1000 miles away, is 83 years old, and would've had a helluva time just physically getting to the Jury Rig), but that it was the perfect venue for our wedding. I have lost track of all the well wishes I have received in the past three weeks or so, as well as all the times I have been told that it was the best/most beautiful/sweetest wedding they'd ever seen (though I have no idea what's so sweet about rat pucking, threatening the audience with drawn swords, and comparing love to an MLT sandwich). It seemed like every single person at faire knew about the wedding and was congratulating us. Celebrating our life together at faire, amongst all our friends, was so much more appropriate than finding some church that neither of us attend and inviting people to put on uncomfortable suits and blow a good portion of their weekend.
3) And now, at the risk of sounding ungreatful, I have a favor to ask - if anybody ELSE has pictures or videotape of the wedding, please let me know. Pics online would be great for sending to my family and friends who were unable to attend - otherwise, please contact me so we can work out a way to send them to me.
Once again, thank you all very much.
