Corcoran Art Gallery Medieval Merriment, Family Day and Open House - Free No tickets required Saturday, January 20, 2007 @ 11-3pm
Celebrate the world of Medieval Europe at an all-day, all-out event celebrating the exhibition, Joan of Arc. Partake in dance, storytelling, art-making workshops, gallery talks, magic shows, and musical performances while keeping an eye out for invading knights and garlanded princesses.
>>This event features our very own Master Thomas Tallis aka Gary Schwartz.<<
Gary says: "For those who would love the opportunity to come in your finest garb, ren or medievel, I am doing a mini ren gig at the Corcoran Art Galler in DC on Jan 20th from 11-3... with minstrels, a queen with knighting ceremony, trumpet heralder and sword fights. This would be a great way to see you.. and also another wonderful reason to get dressed and be ambiance... and see a great art gallery."

Tigg and I will be there for at least some of the event (it'll give us a chance to wear our winter nobles garb that I can't even bear to think of putting on before November).
At one point, I had heard that some other MDRF alumni were going to be there as well (such as a few recognizeable performers who often appear on the Lyric Stage). Anybody else heard anything?
