From Carolyn via A.F.R.:
Hello All-
Just heard some sad news regarding Jim Casey today. His sister, Dale, called Jules to say that Jim, aka Laine , Casey passed away in his sleep. He had heart trouble over the years, and had fluid build-up removed last week, which seem to improve him immensely. Without warning he died in his sleep at home.
A viewing is set for 11am, to be followed by a very short church service at 12noon on Saturday at the Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 West Stockton Street, Elkton MD 21921.
His sister, Dale Woodman, lived with Jim at 202 Welsh Tract Road, Newark DE 19702.
It is very difficult in the festival community to know who knows whom and how close they are. If you know someone - performer or crafter - who was friendly with Jim, please forward this information. Thank you. Sincerely, Carolyn
