As well as everything else... She let me rant and repeat, rant and repeat...
And Ronda ~ thanks for all the wordy ;D emails ~ you don't know how much they help me!!! (my weekday therapist)
SDW Therapy is the best ~ well ok with cider it's so much better and makes a ton more sense but hell I can't be too picky right now!!!! hehehe

How 'bout a get together on St. Patty's Day? We Scottsmen can wear kilts and poke fun at the Irish men who wear "skirts." We could all NOT wear green have have dirty fun pinching each other! hehehehehe
I also turn 45 two days prior. . .double par-tay!
What say ye? Should I set up a board and see if we can gather interest? We'll set it up somewhere close to festival.

Hmmm, a St. Patties get together ... sounds like something that could get me in a whole lot of trouble! Drinking, getting crazy, running around naked with my hair on fire ... firetrucks, paramedics, hookers ... hmmm .... okay, I'm in!
I was promised naked man love with you anyway SBF! Sounds like a great time to collect. (did I just type that)
Seriously, Loma and I were thinking about celebrating this year in Baltimore's James Joyce. We tend to rotate between Baltimore & Annapolis. Last year was at Castlebay in Annapolis. We tend to get a room within stumbling distance of the pub.
Any ideas where everyone would like to meet? Needless to say, this is a big day for my Irish lass so we are good with just about anything.
Thank God it's on a Saturday this year!

Scottsman my brotha, can you post some James Joyce info? Is it a pub? a restaurant? can they handle a party of aqbout 20 drunks? We'd love to do B'more. . . it's about 1/2 hour closer to us than Annanoplace. Here is their website thejamesjoycepub.com/BTW, today is James Joyce's Birthday - I'll drink to that! Loma and I absolutely love this pub, it was disassembled in Dublin and reassembled in Baltimore. It is really nice on Patties Day because the Guinness reps (and other reps) come in and distribute their wares to the patrons. Their menu is second to none, and the Waterfront Marriott right next door has the softest beds on the East Coast, and overlooks the harbour. Now for the down side. That place gets packed on Patties day. They usually set up an outside tent for overflow. It probably would not be ideal for a group unless we got there early and found a place to homestead. They have two or three seatings for dinner and reservations are a must! The problem with dining is that you can't stay at the table when your done with the meal - others are stacked up around you waiting. There is, however, a couple nice little nooks that groups can squirrel up in, but like I said - someone would have to get there early to sit on them. Truly, no matter what Irish pub you go to, it will be packed into the night. The Joyce is one of those places that once you go - well, it feels like home. They will have several bands come in for Patties day. 2005 they had a fantastic auction of Irish bar wares, Guinness stuff, just beautiful items - the proceeds goes to the St. Patties parade in Baltimore. The Joyce is a huge supporter of the parade - which if you haven't seen, you really should go. Loma and I go every year. I would love to have a group to party with this year - usually Loma and I are flying solo.

I live right outside of Baltimore, so this get together would be perfect for me! Keep us all posted on the details!

I must agree, I have heard that James Joyce is a really awesome place. I must admit that I have never been there and it is literally 1.5 miles down the street from me. Haven't figured out what the plans are for St. Patty's day but I would be interested in a get together. I would offer a place for people to crash but I don't have a spare bedroom and my house is very tiny.
