My hair isn't long enough or blonde and I don't think she was a superhero, although I could be wrong.

the "real" lady Godiva actually wore a chemise and maybe a corest and that was it. naked didn't necessarily mean no clothing. After all, we still soemtimes say if someone only has their undies on that they are running around naked. :-) but I think a chemise only would be a bit chilly come October.
you could always go Goth....dye your hair funny colors....go as a character from your fav tv show....

Thank you very much - I will probably end up getting that to wear for some DOW at some point. Any idea where I can get a pirate costume for a small parrot?

I have a cool idea for DOW but it'll have to wait until next year. I would never finish in time and I don't want to rush it.

Sis and I finlly decided on costumes... they are not super heroes, but they are definitely fitting for DOW.
Had I more time,(meaning shipping my kids off to boarding school), I had several great ideas for female super heroes... it just wasn't practical this year.
I am really looking forward to seeing everyone else's costumes!

My DOW costume is almost done, wooot! ...It's got to be the craziest belly-dance costume I have ever done. ;D I Just joined the group, *waves* though we've been going up to Revel Grove every weekend for years. Cheers! ~StormChaser

Nah, he's used to stoves, and tiki torches as well...he was just having one of those "Middle Earth so screams for hair care products" kind of days at the time...
