A good, cool rainy day at faire sounds heavenly right about now! I think I've only ever been there in the rain once. It was only a light on and off drizzle, but it was still nice.

A good, cool rainy day at faire sounds heavenly right about now! I think I've only ever been there in the rain once. It was only a light on and off drizzle, but it was still nice. A light on-and-off drizzle isn't really rain. A strong, drenching downpour that just won't stop and that you still have to stand out in the middle of because there are still some crazed Faire-goers who don't know enough to get out of the rain and under cover and you might as well do your bits for anyway because your stage shows have been cancelled as the boards are too slippery and losing your shoes in pits of mud and jousting knights and horses who don't seem to notice the sheets of water pouring out of the sky and the smell of 50 saturated soaking dripping-wet shirts and doublets and jerkins and schaubs crammed into a costume house with as many wet, grumbling actors-----now THAT'S rain! Looking forward to seeing everyone this weekend...
