Amras "Pollyanna" Elfwine I don't know that the first day of the next season has been set yet, so it could be 43 weeks from now if opening day is August 22 or even 44 weeks if opening day is August 29---just saying.

Amras "Accentuating the Positive" Elfwine In fact, lets break it down into days...306 to be as exact as possible, given possibly skewed data and a non-reliably, non-algorithmically programmed, nor-even calibrated time-to-faire processor... Can you tell I just got back from an early Halloween party? There I was, dancing with Batgirl, Supergirl, a really cute lady cop in fishnets, three St. Pauli Girls, a lady CSI in silk thigh-highs, Glenda the Good Witch, Ariel the Mermaid AND Governor Sarah Palin...all at the same time...wah? OK, I'll behave... 306 days.

Every year I've worked there, Labor Day weekend has been weekend 2. That happens on Monday, September 7th. So I'm 99.9% certain that opening day will be the 29th.

Yes, off the record, I would pretty much assume that opening day is August 29. But I know better than to say anything that is not "official" (that, is, posted on the official web site), being a Company stooge and all, so until it is officially posted, I'll keep things open and vague. I do have all of August blocked out though. So what is that, 304 days from today? Holy crap, I'm not going to be ready! Too soon! Too soon!

Enjoy reading it and enjoy the ensuing rumors....

I was wondering when this would be announced. Also note the extra week in the schedule . . . this time next year we'll have just finished the faire season. . . .perhaps in Hallowe'en style.

You got me all excited, so I went and checked the schedule. True, it looks like there's an extra weekend at the end, but it also "looks" like there's a weekend missing at the beginning. I'm guessing it's the juggling they have to do due to the dates shifting, day-of-the-week-wise. I counted them, and there are still 9 weekends. Frak!
