One shouldn't have to say it, because the dang (not the Lt.) stuff is illegal already but twice today I got a facefull of every criminal's favorite herb. Once while getting a drink at the Dragon's Lair at about 11am and then again at 1pm near O'Shucks.
I think the faire should crack down on the illegal stuff being brought in to imbibe upon as much as the alcohol.
Bring back the sniffing K-9s at the gate for these last weekends of faire.
'just sayin'.

'just sayin'. Funny I was at The Dragon's Lair from opening til past 11:30 and later at O'Shucks and I didn't smell anything. I would've noticed as I'm allergic to THC and tend to go into anaphylatic shock with it - even 2nd hand.

Perhaps what you were smelling was sage, which is used frequently around the faire site to keep away bees. I believe it is sold at the herbalist.
I'm surprised you didn't know that given that you come to faire so often.

I dabbled when I was a kid in the experimental stage, living back in the county. The herbalist on site sells dried jalapeno pepper, but I wouldn't smoke that either! LOL

Pardon me, but I can distinct between the odors of cloves, and cannabis and sage. Frequently people confuse the smell of the latter two.
As for people "smoking" sage, you are incorrect. It is burned in a bundle, a smudge stick if you will, to create a smoke haze similar to burning incense, though with a more broad atmospheric result. In fact, many times the staff at The Dragon Inn have burned sage on a side table to try to ward off bees near the bar.
I'm not saying you *didn't* smell cannabis, but I think you should be open-minded enough to be aware that you may not have.

So, you dabbled with being a criminal in the experimental stages? You're apparently far more judgmental now than you were then.

ShaZam, chill hon, this is an amiable forum.
I've chosen the "wrong" privy and walked into a cloud of what is clearly NOT sage, nor even catnip. Then gotten all paranoid that my clothes and hair smelled...
Hey, wait a minute...paranoid...
Personally, I think that some of the "attire" people wear is a far greater crime...
But the Faire does the best they can to keep people safe...it's a monster job and one I'm glad to not have to do!
