I heard today that Fred Nelson (King Henry VIII at MDRF) has lost his brother at the age of 41. Our hearts and friendship go out to him at this time of saddness.
From his MySpace on Wednesday the 28th:
My little brother David has just died at his home in Oran, MO. He was 41.
We are not sure of the time or cause. It was either last night or this morning. He was last seen yesterday in good spirits. Mom and Jim came home from a trip this afternoon and found him.
We won't know why until we hear back from the coroner, but I can only assume it was due to ongoing complications after the accident.
If you live on Guam, I have a favor to ask. If someone on your end knew David Nelson, formerly of Santa Rita - maybe one of his old fishing buddies - please forward their contact info to me, or vice versa.
The three of us are still in shock and trying to figure out what to do --- but the early plans are to send his ashes back to the island. We would like have them scattered in the ocean, preferably southern ... Talafofo, Agat, Umatac, Merizo, etc. David would have liked that.
Thank you in advance for your condolences and any help you can give me.

Thanks for posting this, BF! I'm sure all of us will be sending our best thoughts and energy to our friend. What a sad time and something that I don't ever want to imagine. My prayers are with him and his family.

Sad news indeed! It is painful when a loved one, family member or friend goes so young. Our prayers are with them.

We all love the King and hate to see anyone go through a loss especially during the holidays. Good thoughts and wishes go to the King and his family.
