I've decided to try and remake the Catherine Parr/Jane Grey gown. Hence the five old rabbit fur coats lying across my sewing room floor in various degrees of being taken apart. Anyone else making new garb for this year?

Anyone else making new garb for this year? My incredibly talented wife Cyn made me a new, beautiful, black Pyrate coat. Some of our folks from MDRF have seen it either at PyrateCon or at the Fells Point Pyrate Invasion. . . I think it's very wonderful. . .and heavy. . .and hot. But as Fernando said, " It's better to LOOK good than to FEEL good."

I have a new pirate outfit that I bought for a New Years Eve masquerade show, I hear that Jenn has a boatload of new outfits which I can not wait to check out. Other than that, just the same old, same old outfits. Unfortunately I did not become wealthy when I went to Vegas, I kept saying momma needs new renaissance garb and it did not seem to work......

Well lets see, I have a new kilt, kilt shirt and soon a new vest to go with it. I also have a noble garb and have 6 more on the tables to be made so I might have a few more before the season starts.

Well, I can say from experience that you two have no problem making an impression ... with or ... ahem ... without garb. Know this, you are among family and judgement is reserved ...

The closest I came to doing royalty was for my wedding...I love the look, but figure I just can't pull it off...I mean, it is more than the garb, it's in the attitude as well...*sigh* Whaddya gonna do?
