For those who keep track, this will be the 30th year of MDRF. Conversations and comments said throughout last season indicate that this will be celebrated and be made a big deal. I guess we shall see. So here is a question for you: How would you like to see this celebrated?

Maybe with the birth of Henry's son, Edward? After all, that was a very big deal at the time (hence the Great Matter) and would give to some rejoicing. Yes, Jane dies at the end, but we can always skip that part.....
As for actual celebrations, a maypole would be intresting...although out of season it was used at celebrations as well.

I think one of the coolest things MDRF ever did was to have a Skum reunion. With that in mind, I think it might be fun to have an MDRF reunion weekend in 2006, incorporating favorites over the years from every aspect of the festival. Some of the people I'd like to see:
Harry of Helmsley, who started pub sing Hazel Dr. Croaker King Francois Maggoty Mullet Scratch Farmer's Daughters Rumming Gang Sinnius Vice The old mud guys Broon Capriccio Catch Club Rick Amick with Jackanapes! Sally Sly and a dancers reunion Mavis Washburn not gonna happen, but how cool would a Bawdy Balladeers reunion be?? also not gonna happen, but Penn and Teller, Flying Karamazovs and Ded Bob also started at MDRF
That's just off the top of my head, there's many, many others, I'm sure.
