All of you are wonderful and really make it a fun place to perform. This will be my last weekend, but it's been great! In fact we could call your act next season. . . "The Sashenka Redemption." I know. . . but I had to use the pun. . . I've been dying to. BWAAA-HAAA-HAAAA!! ;D

BTW...Even though MDRF isn't having Oktoberfest this year doesn't mean I can't :-) I'll be in full BLUE DIRNDL on Saturday...:-) Magpie!!! Ooh, goody goody! I get to see the dirndl in person!?! I've only seen pics...geez, I wish I had your seamstress! Actually I picked up this dirndl while traveling in Munich. I picked up my red and black one (which someone else will be wearing :-) ) in Austria :-) I did have my seamstress alter it for me though :-) Oh, and you too could use my seamstress...she goes to faire and I also have her card :-)

Ana - I remember your mom!
She almost fell off her seat at my very BAD Michael Jackson impression in "Tag Team Romeo & Juliet" - she was a HOOT!

I have had a great time so far! I've been able to see friends from the past, as well as make many new ones. I've been coming to faire for a long time, and it never surprises Me that each year, I seem to become a little more ingrained in the fabric of what is the Maryland Renaissance Festival. It's been very nice getting to know My wonderful shipmates of the Polly Dodger a little better, and meeting some for the first time like Mongo and Wife of Mongo *grin*. It was a blast cheering him on at Pyrate Jeopardy With two weekends left to go, I hope we can celebrate the last days of RenFest 2006 with a bang! Handshakes and hugs to all, Master Will Roberts

I just have a comment about alternate pub sing... IT'S NOT A PUB SING!!! I decided to check out APS this past Sunday because you have all spoken so highly of it. I love the Rouges as much as the next person, they are truly talented and easy on the eyes, but I will go see them perform at other times during the day and not at Dragon Inn at 6 PM. Pub Sing at the White Hart is a much calmer, sentimental way to end my day at the festival. The Dragon Inn was wayyy too chaotic for me.
Just needed to vent... Hey, you gotta give me credit for trying it out!

Hey, you gotta give me credit for trying it out! Maybe "Alternate Pub Sing" is a bit of a misnomer. I think it was just because it was an alternative to going to Pub Sing if one wanted a different sort of scene, who knows? I checked it out this past weekend for the first time myself and Kendall and I both loved it! We found The Rogues' performance there more lively and less orchestrated, with more of a feeling of a "jam" than what we've seen out of them at other venues, although we love 'em no matter where they are! It was a true party atmosphere and you're right, it was a lot rowdier and noisier than what I imagine Pub Sing to be (alas, I have YET to get to a real Pub Sing...and this is my 3rd year at faire!) All I know is that it was a great part and we danced our BE-hinds off! I think it's good to have that choice. We usually have to leave early on Sundays for our long drive home, but maybe next weekend I can check out Pub Sing at the White Hart. I'm sure that either way I go, however, will be a great time!!
