Hi! My name is Niamh, I'm a young'un (19,) and this will be my eighteenth faire. I am very excited to meet everyone - I don't really have faire friends, but have brought family/mundanes with me over the years.
I have one question, though - I don't want to impose, but I don't have a car, and I was wondering if there was anyone from the Baltimore area (Charles Village, specifically) who might be so kind as to lug me around on saturday. I'd happily pay for gas (or a few pints,) or I could make cookies/brownies/something yummy for faire. I really want to make it to opening day, but everyone I know with a car is busy or not interested.
I hope I can meet you all soon! If not saturday, I know I'll be there eventually and will look out for fellow friends of faire!

Hello Niamh! I'm Dammiana, don't worry about age, I'm a scarce 21 myself. If you manage to catch site of me, feel free to say hello, I'm usually there with at least a few people more in your age bracket. :-)
I won't be in bmore anymore by the time Faire starts, but if you ever need a ride from the College Park, DC area, let me know. :-)

Welcome, Niamh! I'm 22 myself (well, I'll be turning 23 during September) and this is only going to be my second Faire and I'm fairly pumped about it. Don't have much in the way of faire friends either (hoping that'll change on Saturday ) though I plan on coercing...uhm...dragging...uhm.... bringing along a few people with me from time to time. Unfortunately, I'm not from Charles Village (though I think I'm relatively close, just south of Glen Burnie) and I've never actually done any real driving in B'more so I would probably get myself lost otherwise I'd be glad to offer to lug you around. Especially in exchange for goodies.

Niamh, Welcome to the club! I do live in the City, Canton to be exact and I could offer you a ride but I have to leave the faire early, no later than 2pm on Saturday due to football draft, so if you are interested let me know, I can also provide a ride anytime in the future as i will be there both days every weekend unless something catastrophic happens. Feel free to drop me a note, I try to check the forums daily, or send me an email at slcdragon@aol.com. I'd happily pay for gas (or a few pints,) or I could make cookies/brownies/something yummy for faire. I really want to make it to opening day, but everyone I know with a car is busy or not interested. I accept any of the above as payment.

Especially in exchange for goodies. Thanks anyway. Is there any way that you could drop me somewhere in Bmore on the way back from faire? The same goodies apply, of course! I can get myself around with public transportation as long as I'm in the city. Obviously, if this is super inconvenient for you, then it's ok.
