". . .but the 1st time wearing of it will be for my wedding on 09/10 of this year! " September 10th? Like, next weekend!?! Wow! You seem so calm. You're getting married at the chapel, right? Ooh, I hope we get to see you in your glorious dress on your glorious day! My hubby and I celebrate our 20th next year. I'm trying to talk him into a renewal ceremony at Revel Grove, but he's tempting me with a trip to Scotland! I think that's how I ended up in this married state -- tempted! Yep! NEXT weekend! Provided that Revel Grove is still above water by that time! Sheesh! I think I'm relatively calm given what's gonna be happening...but an explanation for that is 1) it's not my first marriage, 2) we've been together for over 2 years now, 3) we've been living together for over a year now, 4) we're keeping it simple, with no attendants or hubbub...and the only "friends" or family that will be attending will be anybody who's here on this site (we're gonna surprise everybody here at home...sort of just running away to do it...they aren't Rennie's, don't "get it" (renfaires), and we want to skip all of the possible hassles that come along with such events....and mostly because 5) we have felt married and considered ourselves such for a very long time now...this is just solidifying it legally. Feel free to drop by and watch the nuptials...thanks for all the congrats that I've been wished here! Love to you all!

Recently, my parents have brought up the wedding locale a lot. My mother, who not a rennie herself, wants me to have my wedding at the faire. My dad is pushing for Disney World.
And I, I am just plain confused because I'm not even DATING anyone at this point in time.

I think, were I to get married, I'd prefer a simple wedding, myself. Though my mother would probably prefer otherwise. And I, for one, would be glad to drop in and watch and offer my congratulations.

I just wanted to check in and say how happy I was to have met some very lovely people this weekend. Amras, my apologies to you, in that I didn't get to officially meet you, but only managed to wave from a distance (K wanted more meade after the O'Danny girls and I never managed to see you again throughout the day!)
Everyone was lovely and so incredibly nice! NOT that I doubted it for a minute! Black Fox has made us feel very welcomed and we were monumentally touched that he and Cynthia would not only want to attend our nuptials, but were so "up" for it (BF, the "garb" discussion we had yesterday (don't wanna steal your thunder) really, really touched us!) The wonderful Ana boldly took a chance that I was indeed tigerlily and introduced herself, making a new friend. I was so glad to finally put a face with the lovely Bluedragonlady and to meet the effervescent (sp?) Jennifer! Magpie was her usual gracious, beautiful, outgoing, and generous self! Thank you for yet another sip! Black Fox and Cynthia were all I expected and more!
My shy and not particularly social fiance (not for long!) was quite impressed with everyone and commented to me on how nice everyone seemed and how he liked everyone he met! YAY!!
Now we are scrambling around, trying to do laundry, organize garb, make sure all of our ducks are in a row, and get some work done between now and Friday, when we take off for Annapolis yet again! Thankfully, our ceilings didn't collapse, although we'd sprouted even more leaks than when we left home during the remnants of Ernesto. But the weekend turned out so beautifully and the FoMDRF helped to make it an even more memorable time for us! We love you all!

I'm very glad to have met you both. Hopefully we'll actually get to hear the fiance speak this weekend. Sorry to hear about the leaks though. Ick! Also: you make a pretty awesome pirate.

Aw, shucks, ma'am...I don't know what ter say! Yes, the beastie is a quiet sort of fellow...it takes a lot to get him talking, but I guess it's that old "opposites attract" thingy. He totally startled me yesterday by getting an amazing case of happy feet after MUCH ale....he's fast becoming a Rogue groupy and although I do love them so, he wound up taking me on a Rogue quest...whereupon he proceeded to totally exhaust me by dancing madly at the White Hart! I mean, for GOD'S SAKE, I had on love sleeves, tights, and a hat and was ROASTING to death...OBVIOUSLY I was in the wrong for not having had ENOUGH ale! But hell, SOMEBODY had to drive home! Anyway, I hope to see you this coming weekend! The more he gets to know folks, the more talkative he becomes, you'll see!

Oh, I'm a chicken Will, I am! Black Fox and Amras discovered me at an O'Danny girls show (from across the way) at the Globe...I figured I'd better go ahead and bite the bullet (after more meade, of course) or else I'd be embarrassed in a most 'orrible way! Ana here BRAVELY and BOLDLY approached me in a shop and said, "Are you tigerlily?" (Way to go, girl!) BF introduced us to Jennifer and Bluedragonlady...so there you have it...I ain't so brave after all. I figured it was all organic and just meant to be! YAY!

Now thank you! Although it isn't necessary to buy us a round.....we'd welcome it, but hugs will greatly suffice! I'm getting excited now! FINALLY! There's been so much going on, and in spite of it being a very simple and super small wedding, there's still stuff that's gotta be done (hire the photographer, the videographer, line things up with the minister and line up the music, reserve the chapel, buy wedding garb, yadda yadda yadda)...I just wanna do it, be with my love and my new friends, and have one hell of a day! Sooooo looking forward to seeing y'all again! YAY!!
