I was told that MDRF has a working dog weekend. I breed and show my Saint Bernards and was wondering if this is true I would love to be able to attend this year with two 1 year old pups.

I haven't heard of a "working dog" weekend.. I can't honestly say that I've seen a working dog there before...
I know they have the 'no pets' rule, and I understand that's not the same as a working/ seeing eye dog...
I would admit tho, that would be quite a challenge for a working dog; the terrain is root laden and hilly in spots (especially Suicide Hill)
It may be best to call someone at the MDRF office and ask...

Normally during the Deaf Awareness weekend they have a table set up where a group of dog trainers come in and bring a few of the dogs. They will normally sit there most of the day and talk to people who come by with questions about what it takes to train the dogs as companions for the disabled. Best advice is to contact the office and they can pass you the contact info for the group that comes in that weekend.

I second ellejones advice about contacting the faire management. Their contact info is on the MDRF website. Man, a St Bernard... that thing will tower over most of the pups I've seen at the faire ... and probably some of the kids too.. lol
