About how long of a drive is it from Baltimore to Annapolis?
The B/F and I want to take an extra long weekend and do all the touristy stuff around the area.
We’re debating where to stay. Nice place in Baltimore that has all inclusive packages that will give us admission to all kind of museums and goodies, then trek and hour(?) to faire. Or stay closer to faire. Or find a halfway point.
After coming from the Midwest, and extra hour or so drive may or may not be daunting,
It’ll probably end up being Baltimore since we both have our hearts set on the Ghost Walk. Staying right on the harbor near all the “haunted” places is something we’d both get a kick out of.
On a side note, can anyone suggest some restaurants with vegetarian options?

Weelll it all depends where in baltimore what time of day you are driving to faire and how hard you want to push the horses Now knowing the area and willing to show up well before cannon it is usually a 35 to 40 min drive from the inner harbor Wolf ;D

If you stay in Baltimore, the Inner Harbor is the place to stay - everything you want to see is right there and outside of that isn't exactly anywhere you want to be after dark... Hell I'm scared to drive into Baltimore during the daytime (ask Sam.. hehehe)....
But Annapolis has a kewl inner harbor too, and some haunted places and a weee bit closer to faire... (just an idea)

From the harbor it is between 19 & 26 miles depending on the route you take. Both cities have very nice places to stay. I am fond of Annapolis because of its many Irish pubs and the historic essence of the city. Not to mention it is close to MDRF
