Alas. A loss. May we all give a tear to a great performer lost to us all.
We've lost quite a few wonderful folks over the years and as the nature of time progresses, we'll lose many more. This post is less of a comfort and more of a reality check.
Love the folks that we have around us. Whether they be the trash rat that moves the yellowjackets away from your cider or the King that keeps you in smiles.
Everyone at MDRF, both player and playtron mean the world to all of us and to lose one of us hurts to the bone. You'd love to carry a memory forever. . . you'd love a monument in place of that person . . you'd love to bring about a remembrance of that person each year. . but is that selfish on your part?
In my opinion, the best way to carry on the memory of those past is to continue to make MDRF a happier place for everyone to enjoy. Remember Bill Huttle by slapping Fred on the shoulders and convincing him that he's your KING. . . go by The Museum of Unnatural History and pay double what's expected in the name of Ken Carns who started it. . . and find yourself at the fountain just before the front gates and give a blessing to all whom have passed those gates.
Be they friend, foe, cast, entertainer, vendor, admin, support staff, playtron, or paytron. . . and give a wish or a blessing . . . into those shallow waters of the fountain. . . a thought of love and respect to those who came before ye. . . and maybe even drop a tear from your eye when you're in the traffic, trying to leave the very faire you love so most. . . . remember. . .those that have worked SO hard to make your day a happy one.
without that recognition, this site doesn't need to exist.

What a tragedy. My thoughts will be with his family and loved ones. I regret now never having seen their show. Just goes to prove that you should always seize the moment and never take anything for granted.
