My favorite part of these photos is the one you have titled "Another Hot Wench." It abbreviated the title (at least on my screen) to "Another Ho." I'm still chuckling.

Wow! Very nice! I also find it interesting (at least historically) that Henry and Katherine's costumes don't match as the King and Queens have in seasons' past. Foreshadowing of different views, much? Hehe.. probably not, but still cool to think about. But you really have a good eye for capturing great moments

Last season His Majesty was matched in clothing to Ctherine Howard. This year if you study the court you will find a match

I did notice that last year, which is probably why I was attuned to it this year... although it'll be interesting trying to seek out the person I think you mean Yay!

I assume with costumes you mean there is someone in court who wears something similar to Queen Catherine? I know there is no Catherine Parr in court this year to "match" King Henry to.

Catherine Parr? You mean Sir Thomas's daughter? Why would you even think she might be with the Court? Isn't she over in Yorkshire with her husband, the Baron Lattimore? Really! There are enough strange rumors going around without you starting new ones.

Great pictures. Love the wenches, and there are some great shots of His Majesty. It looks like opening weekend was wonderful. I wish I could have attended. Ah well, there's always next weekend.

In terms of costume match, His majesty does not match anyone but HER Majesty....

You are right, the year is 1541. What are you doing, predicting the future? How do you know what is going to happen in two years? Even if she were somehow to become available in the future, what does that have to do with our King? Isn't he quite happy with Katherine Howard? And don't you also wish that the marriage will last for the rest of their lives? Just be careful. You know how His Majesty feels about fortune telling....

One of the other costume things I find intriguing:
From what I remember, the previous queens' gowns have quite closely mimicked their portraits (or, at least, the ones I've seen on their wikipedia articles). Katherine Howard's this year? Doesn't.
I don't know if that's intentional or not but I found it interesting.

I agree, Ana! But I must admit Her Majesty looks smashing in the Tudor green this season
