;D Does it count if I have several friends who work the faire every year? Don't worry lady godith most of us have many friends among those on cast or who work the booths the changes and those great people are what make our faire so wonderful. But the teasers that are past on through everyone are what make the wait so hard yet so fun. The updates sound very intriguing Black Fox so can't wait to see them.

One other new thing that was not listed that is big this year. A brand new map, on the WEB site, the brochure, and in very large detail in a few select locations at the festival itself.

That's really neat! I like the "here there be dragons" sections for the areas behind the booths. Hah! And the new map is absolutely to scale. You can overlay Google Earth with it and everything matches perfectly. Of course, the entrance has been moved---it used to be in the lower left and now it's in the upper left, so I hope patrons won't get lost trying to find the opening gate. Oh, and there really aren't dragons behind the village flats---that's where the new flush toilets, sheathed in Carrara marble, for the cast have been built. Oh, wait, perhaps I wasn't suppose to mention that.

Yah bet it is to scale. Google earth was one of the tools used to create it. Along with time on site measuring out distances and getting a better idea of the placement of a few locations that belong to the VP as they seem to be well cloaked from Google earth. The trips to site helped too, otherwise the new Blackfriars Theatre would bear a strange resemblence to the old Jury Rig Stage.

Oh yah, as for the entrance... well the top of the map is now true north, so there has been a slight twisting of the landscape. There are some fun subtleties to the map as well. As stated before, this full colour map is the combined work of two fantastic and accomplished artists and long time villagers, so a lot of heart was put into the construction / completion of the new village map.
