Great evening! Was it just me, or did it seem alot like opening day there last night? Lots of ren-regulars surrounding the bar last night at DuClaw...imagine that...and, the new DuClaw Celtic Fury is excellent! Seen in attendance last night...Black Fox and Noir Cyn, Lady Zhenya, Sandman, Dog, Lumpy and Prax, ... ...or, as we could call the north end of the bar, "Lumpy's Wall, Arundel Mills Annex." Our 4-some's table was at what would probably be called the "Chelle-side" of the restaurant... It really had a "faire-tinged" feeling to it... Next Pre-Faire Tailgate warmup...Mar 25th, Pirate Invasion, Fell's Point...hope to see you all there!

"Large cider tanker seen sailing towards Fells Point, Maryland..."
"It may be just enough...but maybe not," say local pub owners.

Hail, Ladyneysa! On the whole, being taken to Issengaard can be equated with a being taken to central Baltimore City...cept the towers are taller an the plumbing works better... "No! Say it ain't so!! The orcs have turned for Philadelphia..." Oh,and the new Snake Oil Pilsner is pretty good, if your'e into Pilsner...I'm more of an Ale or Stout guy meself...filled the growler last night with DuClaws Bare "flasked" Blonde Ale. Beware, this is a Putfile, so it takes a long tme to buffer up...it is superior to the version on the second link, which is regular Flash but very watchable if your'e in a hurry. Enjoy! media.putfile.com/WTF-explodesor www.youtube.com/watch?v=z02N1sgkkYUEverybody look at your hands...

For I've Come From Alabama With a Bodhran on My Knee... ...so, we made it to Exit 177 in Georgia with no problem, making great time, when, pulling back onto I85 after a meal stop, the front, driver's side tire, whcih had been plugged that morning, causing an initial 2-hour delay, went flat on us...in the middle of the night...in pouring down rain...in the wild frontier of the Georgia woods...I put on the, what I like to call, "clown car spare", and we proceded to the next exit at 50 miles an hour, dodging 90 MPH Semi tractors and low flying jets...Triple A basically told us we were on our own...just wait till its time to resubscribe, AAA auto club, 'cause your gonna be on YOUR own!...the next exit turned out to be the home of a major drag racing facility, and the Southern Nationals had started that very morning...which meant, no hotel room for 50 square miles or so...finally found a nice comfy Comfort Suites with room to spare at Exit 111, had repairs made the next morning, and finished our trip with no further problem. My daughter, who never fails to amaze me, met me at the door to her apartment clad in peasant skirt and blouse, looking most fae-like...she's very excited about going to the MD Faerie Fest in just 10 short days...upon our arrival, she could hardly wait to show me the "project" she had been working on...she pulled a beautiful dark blue Pirate Captain's Coat out of her bag, donned it, and asked, "Dad, what do you think?" I think its moments like that that make me think "I done good, somehow." :-)

Where do you all plan to be 31 days from today?? At your local Jiffy Lube, getting oiled?? No no noooo no! At Home Depot during the big "10 Penny Nail, Hinge and Hardware Exposition?" No no noooo no! At the intersection of 100 and 170, watching the guys from Frank's Towing clean up the glass from yet another early morning collision? No no noooo no! I know where I hope you all are...a certain parking lot on Crownsville Road, across from the General's Highway Corridor Park, and get there early!! Positive Attitude's on me...

I know where I hope you all are...a certain parking lot on Crownsville Road, across from the General's Highway Corridor Park, and get there early!! Cider's on me... Okay first: Now I'm gonna be all paranoid going that way to work like I've been doing. I may have to start going down 32 again instead of 100. =P Secondly, I totally plan on being there, with bells on. And hopefully with a couple friends alongside.
